Night Life in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is one of the most entertainment capitals with celebrities partying till the sunrise. This is the place where within the short drive; you can get the world’s best clubs and bars. Nightlife in LA is full of music, dancing, sports, comedy, Harbor cruises and many more excitements.

Los Angeles has special place for nocturnal adventures with various It-crowed clubs to hair metal temples to designer bars to ground-breaking theater to comedy clubs. Los Angeles is considered as one of the busiest place in world where one works all day like a slave with 9-5 shifts and as soon as the sun starts setting down, people get prepared for the night gig.

Nightlife is fully diversified in Los Angeles with something for everyone’s taste, from indie hipster clubs like Cinespace to posh clubs, from hip hop scenes to an array of Los Angeles bars. This city never sleeps with its glittering lights there are surplus of clubs and bars up and down the streets of martini bars in Westwood, sports bars in Santa Monica rooftop lounges in the Valley. Along the West Coast coffee houses are well located all over the popular meeting places in the city.

Anastasia’s Asylum – This is one of the most comfortable place with nightly entertainment, authentic interior decoration and strong tea and coffee with varying quality.

Beauty Bar – A retro decor place which has been opened several years ago, you get your drinks, cocktail lists as well as your hair, nails and cosmetics done with 1950’s vintage style salon gadgets.

White Lotus – It has a Sunset room, beauty bars, a real hot place with long lines, occasional famous face and beautiful people, dancing on the rhythm of the DJ. One drawback is you cannot smoke inside the bar; you have to step out for a puff.

Los Angeles has the wildest clubs in the country, with various trendy industrial noise cellars to faddish hangouts.

Club Lingerie – This has been recently renovated to a dance club with an intimate hip-hop, bar and loud R&B music.

The Derby – Interior decor has a circular bar with a domed ceiling made up of wood. Even though the drinks are costly but it is very hard to resist from coming in. Proper dance lessons are given to seep up the rhythm.

Few other famous clubs and discos are Dragonfly, place for hipsters to hangout with two huge dance floors. Mayan, coolest place to shake legs in Latin, salsa and also fusion dance beats. Los Angeles has a great choice for venues of live music, local rock music has been wonderful since 1960’s with upcoming singers getting their first break in the clubs on the Sunset Strip, in very rare authentic downbeat dives jazz is played. Reggae is little uncommon and immensely popularity is with salsa. Babe, Bicky’s Inn and Baked Potato are few places for live music.

There are fewer places for classical music. LA Philharmonic is the only name that performs regularly. The Long Beach Opera is one of the most entertaining companies in Los Angeles showing well-cherished and challenging performance of modern operas. Disney Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Hollywood Bowl are names of few top hot spots for classical music and operas.

Los Angeles has provided a ground in comedy scene for upcoming jokesters. Drew Carey and Jay Leno are established television stars, which present live performance in comedy. Acme Comedy Theater, Comedy & Magic Club, Groundlings Theater are most pioneer and popular venue in comedy.

Groundlings Theater, Mark Taper Forum, Pantages Theater are few glorious exquisite and stunning theater with stunning sound system. Bing, Chinese, Egyptian, are names of few venue, showing Mainstream, Hollywood classic, documents, foreign films.

Los Angeles nightlife is not only about clubbing or discos hopping so try out some alternative nightlife in LA. Artsy Darksy is a self guided Art walk hosted every second Thursday of the month. If you want to spend night in hiking and stargazing, Griffith Park is the place for you. Grilling at public barbecue pits, enjoying luminescence of full moon in the sand, watching the tides, at Dockweiler and Malibu Beach is another way to spend nightlife.

Enjoy a perfect dinner cruise activity, at Hornblower Cruises & Events, Spirit Cruises & Yacht Parties, and enjoy the most spectacular and romantic evening of your life. Santa Monica Pier is an amusement park with bunch of restaurants, a perfect and safe place if you are travelling with children or teenagers. Downtown Long Beach is very famous with its restaurants, clubs, bars and live music.

Explore the fun nightlife in Los Angeles and see to it that you are above 21 before you enter bars; discos or clubs. Don’t forget to carry your ID.
