Your Local Move in Los Angeles

If you live in Los Angeles or the surrounding areas, you may want to be as close to downtown as possible. If you are interested in finding an apartment in the downtown area, you should be warned that it will more than likely be an expensive apartment. Finding an affordable apartment in downtown Los Angeles is difficult, but it is possible if you keep an eye on the papers and other real estate sources. There are some very nice apartment communities to consider if you are thinking about moving to downtown. Once you have found a space open in the apartment community of you choice, you can start thinking about what movers you want to hire. If you do not want to hire movers, U-Haul is a good place to start pricing your moving van.

The first nice apartment community you may want to look into is Virgil Square. Virgil Square is located near the highways one hundred one, one hundred ten and I-10. Many businesses and other entertainment are easily accessible from Virgil Square. There are shopping malls and stores, restaurants and other forms of entertainment close at hand. This is an apartment community that has flexible lease options. Studio apartments here go for around one thousand a month and one bedroom apartments start around twelve hundred a month. Virgil Square is a gated community and offers both a pool and laundry facilities. On-site maintenance is also another luxury of Virgil Square.

The second apartment community you may want to look into is Hampshire Place. Studio apartments here start around twelve hundred dollars a month and one bedroom apartments start at fourteen hundred dollars a month. This is another gated community and it features a spa, pool, sauna and a fitness center. Hampshire Place also offers laundry facilities and on-site management. Hampshire Place apartments are located in the mid-Wilshire District. This makes Hampshire Place in proximity to downtown, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and USC. Its location also provides you with easy access to several freeways. Hampshire Place is a bit more expensive than Virgil Square, but has extra accommodations for its renters. Of course, where you choose to move may be dictated by your income.
